1.SINGLE CYLINDER TWO STROKE PETROL ENGINE TEST RIG

Engine: Single cylinder 2 stroke petrol engine.
Dynamometer: The engine is coupled to Rope Brake Dynamometer through flexible coupling on a common base plate. Brake drum and a vertical spring balance, hand wheel, weight for conduction experiments.
FUEL MEASURING ARRANGEMENT: Fuel measuring arrangement consists of fuel tank, burette and three way cock all mounted on a suitable frame work and panel board supplied with fuel piping from fuel tank to engine. Calorimeter: Shell and tube heat Exchanger to measure the heat goes through Exhaust gases.
Air intake: Air Intake reservoir measurement with orifice meter plate, U – tube manometer for the measurement air flow Rate.

2. 4-STROKE 4 CYLINDER PETROL ENGINE TEST RIG. (MORS TEST)

ENGINE: A Four Stroke, Four Cylinder, vertical, water cooled petrol engine developing about 10 HP at 1500 RPM with self starter, battery, rope brake dynamometer
LOADING DEVICE: A Rope Brake Dynamometer to load up to 10 HP, Brake arrangement with a brake drum fitted on the Engine shaft and provided cooling water arrangement spring balance.
PANEL BOARD ARRANGEMENT: Panel Board arrangement consisting of ignition and starting switch, and a high voltage knife switch assembly for cutting off each cylinder for MORSE TEST.
FUEL MEASURING ARRANGEMENT: Fuel measuring arrangement consists of fuel tank, burette and three way cock all mounted on a suitable frame work and panel board supplied with fuel piping from fuel tank to engine.
ARRANGEMENT FOR MEASURING THE HEAT CARRIED AWAY BY COOLING WATER: Consists of suitable inlet and outlet piping with flow control valve, water meter to measure the rate of flow of cooling water and thermometers with pocket connections for measuring the inlet and outlet water temperature.

3. SINGLE CYLINDER 4-STROKE DIESEL ENGINE TIST RIG.

ENGINE: A Single Cylinder, Four Stroke, vertical, water cooled diesel engine of 5 HP capacity at 1500 RPM with standard accessories.
LOADING DEVICE: Rope brake Dynamometer arrangement with a Brake drum coupled to the Engine shaft and provide with cooling water arrangement, spring balance.
FUEL MEASURING ARRANGEMENT: Fuel Measuring Arrangement consists of fuel tank, burette and three ways cock all mounted on a suitable frame work and panel board and supplied with fuel piping from fuel tank to engine.
Digital Temperature Indicator: to measure the temperature at various Points.
ARRANGEMENT FOR MEASURING THE HEAT CARRIED AWAY BY COOLING WATER: Consisting of suitable inlet and outlet piping with flow control valve. Water meter to measure the rate of flow of cooling water and thermometers with pocket connections for measuring the inlet and outlet water temperature.
