1.IMPACT OF JET APPARATUS
The setup consists to verify the momentum equation experimentally. This is also used for comparison of change in force exerted due to shape of the vane for different targets (Flat or curved). The system is closed circuit.

2.VENTURI & ORIFICEMETER TEST RIG
Venturimeter & Orificemeter is a device used to measure the flow in a pipe. This apparatus is used to determine the coefficient of discharge. The system is closed circuit.
The apparatus consists of:- A Centrifugal pump of 25mm x 25mm with 1/2 HP Motor
- M.S. Sump Tank 70 Ltr. to collect the water.
- M.S. Measuring Tank 30Ltr fitted with piezometer tube to measure the discharge.
- Damper is used to collect the water in M.S. MEASURING TANK for certain time.
- G.I. pipe of internal dia 25mm and Gunmetal ISI mark Control Valve and regulating valves are used to circulate water.
- Bye-pass line is also used to regulate the discharge. This apparatus consists of
- metallic/venturimeter & Orificemeter. The openings from inlet and throat are connected to U tube
- mercury manometer to measure the head difference.
3.PITOT TUBE APPARATUS
This apparatus is used to measure the coefficient of pitot tube. The set-up unit, provided with a sump tank, centrifugal pump etc. Flow control valve and by-pass valve are fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different flow rates. Flow rate of water is measured with the help of measuring tank and stopwatch.

4.PIPE FRICTION APPARATUS
The setup consists of 2 pipes of different diameters, which are connected in parallel. Pressure tapings provided on each pipe to measure the pressure losses with the help of a differential Manometer. Control valves are fitted on each pipe, which enables to use one pipe at a time for experiment.

5. FLOW THROUGH ORIFICE & MOUTH PIECE APPARATUS (Cd, Cc, Cv,)
This apparatus is consists to determine the coefficient of discharge (Cd), Coefficient of velocity (Cv) and Coefficient of contraction (Cc) of different types of orifice & mouth piece The set-up consists of a tank provided with inlet supply diffuser, overflow outlet, Provision for fitting Orifice or Mouthpiece at the same position is provided.

6. REYNOLDS APPARATUS
The experimental set-up is use to determined Laminar flow, Transition flow, and Turbulent flow. The set-up is self-contained water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank, centrifugal pump etc. An arrangement is done to conduct the experiment on different flow rates. The entry of water in Perspex pipe Flow rate of water is measured with the help of measuring tank and stopwatch.

7. BERNOULLIS THEOREM APPARATUS
The experimental set-up is use to a supply tank of water, a tapered inclined pipe fitted with no. of piezo meter tubes point, measuring tank, scale, and stop watch. Bernoulli’s theorem states that when there is a continues connection between the particle of flowing mass liquid, the total energy of any sector of flow will remain same provided there is no reduction or addition at any point.

8. V- NOTCH APPARATUS
The experimental set-up arrangement for finding the coefficient of discharge inclusive of supply tank, collecting tank, pointer, scale & different type of notches. Notches are overflow structure where length of crest along the flow of water is accurately shaped to calculate discharge.

9. METACENTRIC HEIGHT APPARATUS
Apparatus consists of a flat bottomed semi circular ship model/vessel of brass sheet of size 250 x 250 x 170 mm, allowed floating in a M.S. tank 70 cm x 40 cm x 30 cm fabricated on M.S. angle frame with 2 mm thick M.S. sheet, Inside of the tank is lined with FRP. The tank is having a transparent side made of Perspex sheet. A drain valve of 15 mm size is provided in the bottom of the tank. The tank is provided with a graduated glass tube to measure the depth of water in the tank.
Six removable M.S. strips are placed in the vessel for the purpose of changing the weight of the vessel. By means of pendulum (consisting of a weight suspended to a long pointer), the angle of tilt can be measured on a graduated are. Angle of heel is +: 150, for tilting the vessel a cross bar with two movable hangers and weight is fixed on the model. Pendulum and graduated arc are suitable fixed at the center of the cross bar.
A set of M.S. weights is supplied with the apparatus.
10 .HYDRAULIC BENCH (With 7 Experiments)
Hydraulic Bench with necessary accessories forms a needful laboratory facility which enables to perform various Fluid Mechanics experiments.
- A Centrifugal pump of 25mm x 25mm with 1/2 HP Motor (ISI – Kirlosker Make)
- M.S. SUMP TANK 80 Liter to collect the water.
- M.S. angle frame 150 x 80 x 90 cmmounted on four wheels for easy movement
- M.S. MEASURING TANK 30 Liter fitted with piezometer tube to measure the discharge. Damper is used to collect the water in M.S. MEASURING TANK for certain time.
- G.I. pipe of internal dia 25 mm and ISI mark control valve and regulating valves are used to circulate water.
- Bye-pass line is also used to regulate the discharge.
